New Worship Song

Updated: Nov 19, 2022

In the spirit of lighting a candle rather than cursing the darkness... This is a song that the Lord gave me— —and he has assured me that he doesn't want it back. Here goes...and just feel the power.

(To the musicians: I-IV-vi-V)

Oh Lord I am here to worship I am ready to praise your name I long to kneel to thank you I can hardly wait to sing

I'm really good to go, Lord I can start now anytime Beginning is what I want to do I'm keen to praise right now

My chest blooms like a dove My lungs blossom like the rose While my head is glad and my ears are full Of your praise beyond all That my eyes can see Oh Lord Yeah Oh Lord

CHORUS And the angels roar And creation roars as The Lion of Judah roars So much roaring makes me roar until I cannot roar no more

When your peace flows down upon me Like a river on the sea And beneath your wings I see your face As your hand lifts me up to bow down.

Ten thousand is a nice round number To put into my song Ten thousand times ten thousand, though, Is bigger and better yet So a million or a trillion or A googleplex and then I can start at the beginning and Just praise you once again

CHORUS And the angels roar And creation roars as The Lion of Judah roars So much roaring makes me roar until I cannot roar no more

In the morning I shall praise thee And at night when I shall lie I will offer up my worship To you up there in the sky

No power can stand against and No foe can ever beat For the Lord our God is with And we will not be ever done

CHORUS And the angels roar And creation roars as The Lion of Judah roars So much roaring makes me roar until I cannot roar no more

Brother Stackhouse,

Thanks for the fine lyrics (first time I've encountered googleplex in worship). Is there a sample of a tune that accompanies the song that would allow one to join you in roaring?
